The bisected curve of the Meridian ring offers both softness and strength, symbolizing the permanent and yet slowly shifting nature of the Earth's poles. This one of a kind ring features a gold-toned agate with blooming clouds of pyrite. There is one small opening in the surface which is a natural feature of the stone.
The face of this ring is approximately 1.5" wide, 1.25" tall, and .25" deep, set in brass with a wide band for comfort. While it's made for everyday wear, the stone face is softer than metal and care should be taken to avoid damage.
Brass: an alloy that closely matches the tone of yellow gold, oxidizes over time to a darker shade.
Agate: typically formed from chalcedony and quartz, a 7 on the Mohs scale.
